The food was delicious. There were a few changes of the breakfast buffet everyday with lots of Malawian local delicacies. The hotel is centrally located in the city with beautiful views from our room on level 7. Robert made us great lattes, and Trinity, a server was very warm and friendly. Always knew our daily coffee orders.

Located in the centre of Blantyre. Rooms are comfortable and the double room beds are HUGE and very comfortable. Staff are supper friendly and happy to help. Food is very good although the price is higher given this is probably one of the poshest hotels in the city.

Breakfast was really good, with multiple options of hot and cold options. Food at the indoor restaurant was really good as well. Location was also great. Staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful and accommodate various requests.

Amaryllis Hotel is simply Blantyre City's Best Hotel in Malawi🇲🇼🇲🇼🇲🇼! The description is exactly what I had encountered during my recent stay at the hotel. Despite waiting for one hour for my room to be ready, the reservation department simply upgraded me to a Beautiful room on level 4 that was already made. The views were just out of this world. The service was phenomenal. Food was mouth watering. What stood out was their customer service and attention to detail. A Big shout out to a waitress called Jesse whose ever smiling face and service was very exceptional. Susan, a house keeping lady again impressed me with making sure the water was warm. Despite being upgraded, due to long wait to check in, the reservation staff went above and beyond and brought me special treats of Macadamia nuts, dark chocolate and an apple to my room as a token of an apology. It was a rare experience that I have encountered as a solo traveller, seeing a hotel going above and beyond to satisfy their customers. You want to visit Blantyre City in Malawi? Then Amaryllis Hotel is simply the Best! Thank you so much for outstanding customer service.

This hotel is good, the food is nice and there is a good selection for breakfast. Rooms are big with a stunnig view over Blantyre

Wonderful hotel. The staff is great—so friendly and always making sure your stay is perfect. They are very flexible. I needed to wait for my taxi after checkout, and they extended my room for free so I could wait there comfortably. When I extended my stay by one night, they ensured I received the same rate for the room. The rooms are perfect—clean and nicely furnished. The beds are big and very comfortable. There is a nice swimming pool, great bars, and excellent food.

If you don’t drink alcohol, this hotel would be a good fit. Modern facilities, striking high-rise with grand views from most units. Typically African Muslim breakfast. No pork! Lots of stuff westerners wouldn’t even dream of eating for breakfast, but good coffee and cakes, fresh fruit, as well. Fried eggs cooked pretty hard to avoid bacterial hazards. There is a alcohol bar with some food in the ground-floor tiny shopping mall, very popular with Blantyre’s college set on weekends. Super-efficient room safes. Delightful staff.

Hotel, staff and breakfast were amazing! Only one problem ... The music from the casino was so loud. We couldn't get to sleep. Very unfortunate!

Nice, spacious and comfortable room. Big comfortable bed with sparkling white lien. Personal terrace with city view. Convenient location. Decent food in the restaurants.
